Purple Purple! LOTD.

Here is a LOTD I did a few days ago...the shadow is from my 120 palette and the purple lipstick is from my lip palette I purchased at Icing....they are GORG! My brows were down with a basic medium/dark brown eyeshadow and and some MAC concealer to clean them up. :) Happy Happy Weekend! Be safe and be BLESSED

I Made It! Happy One Year Post Relaxer To Me!

Whoop Whoop! So my LAST relaxer was May 8th, 2010! I made it! This lets me know that I can actually do this! I have a few pics to show but not many, my next cowash I will get my growth from all angles...The only issue I have is that my hair at the crown area us growing in....straight *confused face*...I will discuss this more in a later post, natural ladies..I could use more encouraging words! 10 Months Post Relaxer!/Updates

Well...almost...So on March 8th I will be 10 months post relaxer..ALMOST ONE FREAKING YEAR! WOOHOO! Yah...I'm uber excited ;) This was my end point the second time I tried transitioning so it's a lil' celebration going on in my head :~).

So I'm still wearing buns, still using the same conditioners to co wash. My gels of choice as of now are the ECO Olive Oil gel and the Fantasia IC clear gel (love love love). From time to time I will use the flexi rods (booo) <----- takes longer to do them now and my arms get crazy tired, ha. I've also realized that my hair thrives most when I do NOTHING to it (low manipulation)...works charms. As for moisture... Elasta QP Mango Butter...been using it for the past 4 years and I LOVE IT!!! Im not real fancy when it comes to oils, just regular old EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and coconut oil :)

Hair Update Pt 1. -Conditioner LOVE!-

DOLL BABIES! I miss you all, so as you all know I've decided to start back transitioning! I just feel as is this is the right time, I'm so excited. So straight to the point...I've learned that SIMPLE is best. When it comes to products, styles, AND my regimen...simple is the only way I can have it. Lets start off with conditioners! We have Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner...LADIES..ladies...LADIESSSSS!..this stuff has my hair feeling like BUTTA not butter but BUTTA! I love it..it instantly leaves my hair soft and gives it great SLIP! (a MUST)! Detangling is a dream :). If you are a conditioner nut, as I am one, then you will need to stock up on this stuff HEAVY! And its under 2 BUCKS! (HOORAY FOR CHEAP!) Ok, next we have Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner! I use this ALL the time, my hair loves it...it really is a miracle!

Yay For Moisture!

Funny how we are quick to run out and but TONS of NEW hair products, and the good ones are usually right under our nose. Literally, that's what happened to me...my future mother-in-law has TONS of these fabulous conditioners stashed away throughout her house. To my surprise, they are FAB! It's TRESemme' Moisture Rich conditioner and my hair LOVES IT! I finally found my cowash con! YAY ME!
